About the Brisbane Water Oyster Festival

The Brisbane Water Oyster Festival was established in 2000 by the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce to showcase the beautiful waterways of the Woy Woy Peninsula and our largest primary industry, the oyster farming industry.

This year we will be showcasing a variety of oysters from the Brisbane Water Oyster Farmers, the Broken Bay Oyster (Patonga) Farmers and the famous 'Pacifics' from the Hawkesbury River Farmers.

The day commences with a full program of entertainment with live on stage bands as well as street entertainment. We have the ‘How Many Oysters Can You Eat in 30 Seconds’ with a trophy and major prize to be won. Compered by Star FM 104.5.
